We are presently distributing the fifth issue of Our Guide. By now we know it will be useful, and make your life in the north west of Murcia easier.
In this guide we have collected most of our own experiences in the region so far, as well as the contributions from other foreigners living in the area. To develop this guide into the valuable tool we want it to become, we need more contributions from all of you out there, - foreigners and locals.
As we live just outside Mula ourselves, this town is over-represented in the guide. To remedy this we are looking for representatives in the other towns in the region. If you speak some Spanish, and are interested in some part-time work, please contact us for a chat.
For those of you who operate a business in the area, encourage your customers to contribute to the guide. We will only list establishments that in some form or another have been recommended or commented by a client. Our ambition is also, over time, to visit all the listed establishments to check out the information given, - for ourselves and with the owner.
We intend Our Guide to remain free, also in the future. For this to be possible we shall request a modest contribution of €60 per year from the commercial establishments listed. We shall also accept a limited number of small adverts, primarily from the listed companies. The cost of advertising is listed on page 39. Please contact us if you are interested in placing an advert.
Whatever we do in the future, we will ensure that we stay independent of any commercial pressure. The primary purpose of Our Guide is to assist the English speaking client/consumer with advice from other clients/consumers.
