LOS ESCUDOS
Without a doubt, one of the best restaurants in the Río Mula area. A select range of traditional regional and international dishes, always cooked with first class, fresh products. Outstanding homemade stews and desserts.
 |
Meats
Outstanding leg of kid goat and spring lamb cutlets, cooked in a special sauce with a unique combination of ingredients.
Fish and seafood
Prime quality fish and shell fish, cooked to perfection: all goodness of the sea. First class salt cod
Casseroles and stews
Just the thing if you miss home cooking and the flavours of yore: casseroles, stews and other spoon dishes
Rice dishes
Paellas, rice with rabbit and snails, with vegetables or with beans and other combinations taken from the Mediterranean repertoire. Whether simple or elaborate, all are delicious
Vegetables
Always fresh, from Murcia’s renown vegetable gardens. The summer black pudding - which is neither black, nor a pudding nor necessarily summer fare - is a speciality of the house that never fails to surprise
Tapas
Somewhere between a snack and an appetizer, tapas are the best way to open appetite or to tease away one’s hunger. With a glass of wine or a cool beer great for livening up a conversation with friends or an informal supper
Desserts
Mouth watering seasonal and tropical fruits and a highly tempting selection of home made cakes, ice creams, mousses and tarts
Wines and drinks
National and local wines, cavas, liqueurs, dessert wines and spirits
